Simple Text Masking Effect with Sketch3

Using Sketch3 to make text masking effect. Published @Medium

STEP 1

Add a new file and insert a photo.

STEP 2

Type something, choose a neat font and make it big enough. 😛

STEP 3

Click on the text layer, the go to Type menu, select Convert Text to Outlines.

STEP 4

Go to Layer, select Use as Mask (Mask Model: Outline Mask).

STEP 5

Move forward the photo layer. Bravo!

Further tip

You want make more masks? Do not only add new text layer, duplicate the background at the same time.
